Vägverket grundar sitt arbete om barns säkerhet i trafiken på en barnkonvention utarbetat av FN. I konventionen står det att barns bästa skall komma i främsta rummet vid alla åtgärder som myndigheter och offentliga organisationer vidtar och som rör barn. På uppdrag av Vägverket Region Norr har vi upprättat en visualiseringsmiljö som kan användas för att analysera en befintlig eller planerad trafiklösning. Syftet med arbetet var att undersöka vad som krävs för att med hjälp av GIS-verktyg, utifrån barns synvinkel, bygga upp en 3D modell över en trafiksituation. Vi har undersökt två programvaror, ERDAS Imagine VirtualGIS och ArcView 3D Analyst, och kommit fram till att ERDAS Imagine VirtualGIS lämpar sig bäst för att bygga upp en 3D modell utifrån våra krav.

Det finns till och med spel som räknar individens kaloriförbrukning under spelets gång.Syfte Syftet med studien är att se om det råder en signifikant skillnad gällande kaloriförbrukning mellan Your shape och indirekt kalorimetri samt hur Your shape förhåller sig mot Nintendo Wii boxing utifrån de fysiologiska variabler hjärtfrekvens och kaloriförbrukning.Metod En experimentell studiedesign genomfördes på 12 deltagare (7 kvinnor och 5 fem män med en medelvärdeskaraktärisering på 22.2 år, 67,9 kg, 171,3 cm och 23,0 BMI) med hjälp av indirekt kalorimetri i form av en portabel Oxycon Mobile Pro. VO2 och HF uppmättes under testet för att därefter räkna ut testpersonernas kaloriförbrukning.

In this project I have worked with porcelain och and porcelain decors. The project was based on questions like why porcelain is such a richly decorated product and how you can maka a shape and a decor feel like a entirety. In December 2009 I went to China in search for answers and to study porcelain decors. This trip has been my inspiration throughout the whole project and also the main theme for the idea, the shape and the decor. That is why I decided to make a teacup with a plate that also has a function as a lid.As I first started working with the shape I was thinking to make a rounded teacup, inspired by the chinese rice bowls, but since I had to produce the porcelain by myself I decided to make a much more simple shape.

Om bilens utförande och design inte tilltalar konsumenterna innebär detta låga försäljningssiffror och därmed förlorade intäkter för företaget.Det huvudsakliga syftet med detta arbete är att grundligt undersöka om och hur CAD-programmet Catia V5 med modulen Imagine & Shape (IMA) skulle kunna användas på Volvo Car Corporations designavdelning (PVS). Syftet är också att granska vad en implementering av Catia V5 med IMA-modulen skulle innebära för produktutvecklingsprocessen, samt att undersöka vilka som skulle kunna använda sig av programmet. För att undersöka hur Catia V5:s IMA-modul skulle kunna fungera på PVS har vi i samarbete med designstuderande Pontus Ny modellerat en konceptbil, komplett med exteriör, instrumentpanel, mittkonsol, ratt, stolar, baksäte, fälgar och hjul.

The purpose of this thesis is to provide a better understanding of how dairies use colour, picture and shape in order to influence customers? buying decisions of fruit yoghurt. In order to reach this purpose the research was conducted through case studies of three dairies. In this research three research questions were created with focus on the visual elements colour, picture and shape. The method of data collection was performed through interviews with dairies as well as documentations.

The availability of digital models of real 3D objects is becoming more and more important in many different applications (e-commerce, virtual visits etc). Very often the objects to be represented cannot be modeled by means of the classical 3D modeling tools because of the geometrical complexity or color texture.
